We had a beautiful day today which was a nice change from all the cold rainy weather we have had this year. We decided to go play at the Cabin John park playground after Emily's nap. When we got there (around 3:45 or so) the boys decided we should go on a hike through the woods. It was great! Emily did her fair share of walking, but Chris and I took turns carrying her as well. It was a very fun afternoon adventure!
We found some fallen trees that made a bridge across the river. Tyler, the adventurer, had to check it out. It's a good thing he has good balance. That would not have been a fun rescue. These photos make it look higher than it was, and the water was pretty shallow.
When we made it back around we stopped at the park for a few minutes. This girl loves a good slide!
