We changed the wall colour to a more neutral colour called Dusty Trail. I really like it. We also removed those ugly brass decals on the fireplace and put up some crown moulding.  What you can't see in this pic is the new white curtains and the beige slip cover on the purple lazy boy chair. It looks SO much better. The only thing left to do is change out the ceiling fan. I have NO idea what to do there and welcome any suggestions! We also need some side tables and lamps. I love lamps!

I also put up some art in almost the same colours as the walls. It's the boys' handprints. 

Here is our new Barn Red powder room. I love the colour. I also painted that picture and love how bold it looks with the red on the walls.
