    A short recap!

I haven't posted anything here in forever and I am starting to feel bad about it. Not because my mom keeps asking me for updates, but because I think this is a great way to document the funny and special moments we have as a family. I always think I will remember stuff, but lets face it...I don't.
    Some stuff worth noting:
Justin no longer calls Tyler - AYA. This is a big deal cuz it was so cute. Sometime at the beginning of January he figured out his T's and now calls him Tyla. He pretty much idolizes Tyler and wants to do everything his big brother does. If you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up he will even tell you "Tyler". So cute and sweet.
Justin is starting to become a little less attached to us, although when we go out, he still sits with me for an hour or so before warming up and venturing to play with the other kids. He is getting so big and is wearing mostly size 3 stuff. It's amazing how different these kids are. He also loves school and seems to talk about the girls most of the time. This has me a tiny bit worried :)
Tyler is doing really well at school. He loves it and has made some great friends. He is very smart and really only gets in trouble for being chatty (I wonder where he gets that from?). He came home from school the other day and was watching an episode of Batman. The conversation we had went something like this:
    T- Hey, that's Abraham Lincoln!
Me- How do you know who that is?
T - He was the 16th President of the United States of America. We are learning about presidents right now.
    Me- Wow Tyler, that's awesome.
T- Ya it is. George Washington was the first President of the United States of America. But that's all I know.
Needless to say, I was pretty impressed.
He is also reading really well and I sometimes find him trying to sound out some words when he is in his room looking at books. We do lots of reading around here, so I am sure he will be reading on his own in no time!
We went to Mexico in January. It was our last trip as a family of four. We had an amazing time! Here are a few photos from the trip.

Tyler did not like this monkey!
My mom came back to visit this month and we spent the 10 days she was here shopping for the new babies room and organizing the boys stuff (well, she did most of it). Tyler and Justin now share a room. It's been pretty exciting for both of them, but mostly Justin. He thinks it's a party every night while Tyler wants to sleep. We are hoping that it settles down in a few weeks. The room isn't finished yet. I still need to get some stuff hung and touch up some paint.
Here are some photos of their first night in the room. I also managed to get a picture of Justin sleeping one morning, but can't get those pics of Tyler. That kid gets up at 5:30!

We also celebrated Daddy's 37th Birthday!
